Mesa is your one-stop place for all things
Wallace & Ladmo!
Mesa Public Library, in partnership with the Mesa
Historical Museum, will present a tribute to the
Wallace and Ladmo Show with "Wallacepalooza!" The
event kicks off at all three branches of the Mesa Public Library and the Mesa Historical Museum
Saturday, Aug. 29.
The Libraries will feature exhibitions on some of
the Wallace and Ladmo Show’s most enduring
characters and questions, including "Why did the
Ladmo bags get so small?"
The Mesa Historical Museum will present "Thanks for
Tuning In: The Wallace and Ladmo Show" featuring
never-before-seen "Hubcap and the Wheels"
memorabilia, Gerald’s Monster and the story of the
Ladmo Tie t-shirt.
TV Show Festival & Costume Contest at
all three City of Mesa Libraries!
Put on your best Ladmo tie, dress up like Mr.
Grudgemeyer, Aunt Maud, or Boffo the Clown and win a
prize in one of the Library's Wallace and Ladmo
Costume Contests!
Don't miss Captain Super, Marshall Good, Muck &
Mire, Bobby Jo Trouble, the Time Machine, Wallace
Westerns with the Nasty Brothers, Old Time Movies,
and more from some of the best episodes of the
Wallace and Ladmo Show:

Saturday, October 31; 11am - 2pm – Main Library
Pick up a Wallace & Ladmo punch card at any "Ask
Here" Desk.
See different memorabilia from the show at all three
City of Mesa Libraries and get your card punched at
each location. Turn in your completed card at the
Mesa Historical Museum for free admission, see their
exhibition
"Thanks for Tuning In: The Wallace and Ladmo
Show,"
and enter a drawing (by November 24) for a chance to
meet Wallace on December 5!
There is free admission to "Wallacepalooza!" at
the Library branches. Admission to the Mesa
Historical Museum is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors
and $3 for children.

in the Main Library Board Room from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00

Book Group copies will be provided to the first 10
attendees.

Youth Activity Room
Baby Lapsits introduce the rhythm and beauty of
language to babies aged birth to 24 months, using
rhymes, songs, and simple stories. This program,
limited to one child per grown-up lap, helps enrich
the bond between caregiver and child while building
the foundation for a lifelong love of books and
reading. No registration required.
