Starting up your own small business can be tough. Make things easier and gain the vital facts for startup at a set of free business seminars held at Mesa’s THINKspot, 635 N. Power Rd.
Business 101 workshops will be held every Thursday in January from 6p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Presented by Delia Gomez, Economic Development Specialist with the Small Business Association Phoenix Office, will focus on the basics that are important to all local startups. Participants may attend any or all workshops (register for each separately).

Jan. 14 – The Business Plan
Why and how to write an effective business plan
Jan. 21 – Financing Your Business
Money sources and success strategies (includes loans, credit, crowdfunding)
Jan. 28 – “I did it! So can you!”
Three successful businesses share their obstacles, risks and lessons learned.
