Draw your dream bookmobile!

Mesa Public Library’s brand new bookmobile is rolling in this winter. To celebrate, we want to see your vision of the ultimate bookmobile and what that would look like. Participants will compete for a chance to see their bookmark design distributed for a limited time at all Mesa Public Library locations and bookmobile stops.

What is a bookmobile?

A bookmobile is a library on wheels! Mobile libraries provide books and other resources to communities that don't have easy access to traditional libraries.

Contest Information

Pick up an entry form at your library branch or print one at home:
- Bookmark entry form (PDF)
Create a bookmark design using crayons, colored pencils, or markers.
Fill out your contact information, and return your entry form to the children's desk at your library branch by August 31, 2024

Tips and tricks for success

Use the provided entry form, and make sure that any design elements remain within the designated area.
Use solid, vibrant colors.
Be creative and have fun! Please use your original creations. Popular logos and figures (ex. Superman, Disney, etc.) cannot be considered due to copyright restrictions.

Selecting Winning Designs

Judges will select winning bookmarks from each of the following grade groups: Grades K-3, 4-8, 9-12. The winning designs will be featured on our website and printed for readers to pick up at our locations or bookmobile stops, while supplies last. The artists of the chosen designs will receive a Downtown Mesa gift card and Mesa Public Library swag.
